We have a 4 x 1 1930's Brisbane home in Annerley and it desperately needed an extra bathroom and toilet. We couldn't imagine ever moving back into this home without it. Can you imagine...two young kids and one bathroom! We had a timeline of 3 weeks between one tenant moving out and the new ones moving in and it was also the holiday season so you can imagine the ordeal of trying to get products and manpower to do what we needed to do. Yes, it was madness!
Our home had a connecting room to ours and to our son Charlie's room that was perfect for us to cut in half and transform into our ensuite. So the journey begins.
Our office was an amazing blue... terrible colour choice for an office and as we had only lived in the home for 6 months before moving to Singapore we hadn't gotten around to changing it back to white.
First stop was Taubmans Professsional Paint Centre. We decided on "Trendy" Black and then "Crisp White" in the low sheen.
We got tiles from a discount tile shop for $15/m2, vanity and light fittings from Masters Home Centre, tap ware and toilet from Reece, shelving from H and G designs, shower screen custom made from Stegbar.
Here are some before and after shots.
